On November 29, WideWired obtained its business license for a foreign-invested joint venture company in Nanjing.
This marks the first-ever overseas value-added telecom operator in the province, specializing in internet virtual private network services (IP-VPN). It’s also the first global operator to land among cities approved for expanding service industry openness under the State Council’s initiative.
By addressing the high costs of international dedicated line connections, this venture is set to help export-oriented businesses slash network expenses by 30%.
