Recently, Changan Mazda held a ceremony to mark the first electrified EZ-6 sedan rolling off the assembly line at its Nanjing manufacturing base.
The friendship between Changan Mazda and Nanjing began in 2004 when the company selected a location in Nanjing as its manufacturing base.
In February 2005, the Nanjing manufacturing base project was announced. In 2012, Changan Mazda completed Phase I of its R&D Center. By February 2023, production and sales had exceeded 2 million units.
The ceremony, which also unveiled a new 10 billion RMB renewable energy project, signifies the company’s commitment to Nanjing and sustainable development.
DENG Zhitao, Executive Vice President of Changan Mazda, highlighted that the renewable energy project and the launch of the EZ-6 reflect the strong 20-year partnership between Changan Mazda and Nanjing, paving the way for future growth.
