On November 26, 2020, the 3rd National College Student Embedded Chip and System Design Competition and the 5th National Finals of Intelligent Interconnection Innovation Competition opened grandly in the IcisC Talent Training Base of Research and Innovation Park. The 2009 teams composed of 5,019 students from 303 colleges and universities across the country, after rigorous review in the five major divisions of the eastern, western, southern, northern and central regions, a total of 150 teams eventually advanced to the national finals.
China is actively promoting the development of the integrated circuit industry, and embedded engineers familiar with software and hardware systems are particularly important. This competition has received strong support from many universities and enterprises. They used the advantages of the network to organize online and offline presentations and trainings, and overcome many difficulties to achieve today’s success. Although some teams were unable to reach the finals due to the epidemic, they can still defend and judge online.
The entries in this competition involve home automation, smart transportation, smart agriculture, drones, unmanned vehicles and other fields. They have strong applicability and fully demonstrate the strong chip design, software and hardware adaptation, optimization, application design and other technical knowledge of the participating college students.
