As a major economic city and an open city, Nanjing has close cooperation and exchanges with Singapore in various fields such as economy and trade. The construction of the Singapore Nanjing Eco Hi-Tech Island, a key project of cooperation between the two sides, is progressing smoothly. Both sides have the foundation and conditions to achieve greater success in promoting the high-quality development of Sino-Singapore cooperation.

Han Liming hopes that Peter Tan can continue to care about and support the development of Nanjing, promote the effective use of the “Singapore-Nanjing Key Projects Cooperation Committee” platform, and that both sides can jointly coordinate and accelerate the construction and business introduction of the Singapore-Nanjing Eco Hi-Tech Island project, and promote deeper cooperation in areas such as digital economy, technological innovation, trade and finance, e-commerce, urban governance, green development, and cultural exchanges, in order to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.

Peter Tan said that the continued progress of the Singapore-Nanjing Eco Hi-Tech Island project is not only an important achievement of the cooperation between Singapore and Nanjing, but also an important symbol of the cooperation between Singapore and China. Singapore is willing to work together with Nanjing to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, and to deepen cooperation in various fields such as the application of technological innovation products, response to population aging, and internationalization of enterprises, aiming to achieve more results and benefit the people of both countries.
