Siemens Xcelerator Yangtze River Delta Technology Innovation Empowerment Center to settle in Nanjing

On September 11, an agreement was officially signed to establish the Siemens Xcelerator Yangtze River Delta Technology Innovation Empowerment Center in Nanjing. Mr. Chen Zhichang, mayor of Nanjing City, met Mr. Xiao Song, executive vice president of Siemens AG, and his delegation. They together witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement, with Mr. Ji Tiejun, vice mayor of Nanjing, also in attendance.

Siemens is a Fortune Global 500 company that focuses on electrical, automated and digital development. It has launched projects in Nanjing related to CNC, energy, and power automation.

This signing marks the establishment of Siemens Xcelerator Yangtze River Delta Technology Innovation Empowerment Center in Xuanwu District, Nanjing. The center aims to offer enterprises digital services to empower the manufacturing industry through resource aggregation, technological innovation, and international cooperation, thus setting a benchmark for the development of the digital economy and industrial ecosystem.

During the meeting, Mr. Chen Zhichang expressed gratitude for Siemens’ commitment to Nanjing.

He stated that Nanjing is now pushing new industrialization, vigorously moving toward a strong industrial city, and coordinating the upgrade of traditional industries, the growth of emerging industries, and the fostering of future industries in an effort to build a modern industrial system.

Siemens is a global technology leader that has developed close ties with Nanjing for many years. It is hoped that both parties would take this signing as an opportunity to engage in deeper interactions around digital transformation and green low-carbon development, and to boost cooperation across broader fields.

Mr. Xiao Song thanked Nanjing for its support in Siemens’ development and provided an overview of the company’s progress.

He noted that Nanjing boasts obvious geographic advantages, abundant scientific and educational resources, a solid industrial foundation, and a superb business environment. Siemens is confident in Nanjing’s future development and will fully leverage its strengths to actively broaden cooperation and contribute more to Nanjing’s high-quality development.
