Imagine ordering a coffee on your phone, and in just 70 seconds, a Nanjing-made robot grinds, brews, and delivers it to your 40th-floor office via an autonomous vehicle. This smart coffee robot has already received orders from Bolivia, Argentina, Singapore, Germany, and Spain.

But Nanjing’s robotics innovation doesn’t stop there. Estun Robotics, the top domestic industrial robot brand in China for 7 consecutive years, launched its first self-developed humanoid robot last September. Meanwhile, Nanjing TetraBOT Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the world’s first explosion-proof humanoid robot, certified for operations in hazardous environments like hydrogen and methane.

With nearly 100 companies involved in robotics R&D and production, Nanjing has built a comprehensive industrial chain covering everything from robot assembly to key components. The city recently announced a 3-year plan to become a national benchmark for robotics innovation and a hub for industry clustering.
