The airline will offer a 1X-daily flight between Nanjing and Kuala Lumpur. Specifically, Flight MU2969 (NKG-KUL) will depart from Nanjing at 22:50 and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 04:40 the following day; Flight MU2970 (KUL-NKG) will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 05:50 and arrive in Nanjing at 11:35 the same day (all times are local).

China has been one of the largest sources of tourists for Malaysia for several consecutive years. Since December 1, 2023, Malaysia has allowed visa-free entry for Chinese citizens for stays of up to 30 days. This policy proves effective, as evidenced by a surge in Chinese tourists traveling to Malaysia during the recent China May Day Holiday.

According to data from Qunar.com, a popular Chinese online travel agency, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have once again become favored holiday destinations for Chinese tourists, and there has been a significant increase in flight bookings from the Yangtze River Delta region to these countries.

Moreover, there has been a notable increase in inbound tourism. Statistics from Eastern Airports reveal that from May 1 to 5, the number of inbound flights and passengers at Nanjing Lukou International Airport rose by 79.2% and 89.5% respectively compared to the same period last year, with a significant portion of passengers from Southeast Asia.
