On June 28, the 15th Nanjing Conference on International Exchange and Cooperation for Overseas Chinese Professionals was held in Nanjing International Expo Center, which comprises 7 discussion boards with the theme of “A High-level Talent Platform for Innovative Development”.

The lineup of participants for this conference includes more than 60 national post-doctoral research workstations and provincial post-doctoral innovation practice bases. 

“Creating an environment in Nanjing that is highly conducive for young talents, making it their top preference for innovation, and sincerely attracting skilled individuals.” At the opening ceremony, Nanjing invited overseas professionals at home and abroad to come. 

In the 2023 List of Cities with Talent Attractiveness in China, Nanjing takes 6th place. For the past few years, Nanjing has ranked among top cities in Jiangsu by the number of newly returned professionals studying abroad, and the total number of returned overseas talents in Nanjing has reached 61,200. Thus, a trend of return of talents is growing.

Since 2008, a accumulative total of more than 7,500 talents at home and abroad have been introduced to Nanjing, and over 2,600 projects have been promoted to be launched.
