On the morning of July 11, the GG4864 flight smoothly took off from Nanjing Lukou International Airport, loading with 99 tons of cargo. It marks the official opening of the international route of an all-cargo round-trip flight between Nanjing and New York.

The flight is operated by B747-400 aircraft and is scheduled to fly three times every week, with a full load of about 110 tons. The outbound cargo mainly consists of cross-border e-commerce goods, while the inbound cargo mainly includes edible aquatic animals such as Boston lobster from the United States. The opening of this route effectively meets the demand of Nanjing enterprises for timely transportation of exported goods from the Americas. It also expands air transportation channels in the Yangtze River Delta region towards the Americas, thereby promoting foreign trade growth and high-level opening up.
