From March 17 to 24, the Nanjing Jiangning Investment Mission blazed a trail to Sweden and South Korea for investment promotion. Venturing through Stockholm, Gothenburg, Seoul, and Chungju, they engaged with industry giants like Polestar Technology, Volvo, and LG New Energy Solution. The mission secured a whopping $1.767 billion in investment across nine projects.

In South Korea, Nanjing Jiangning Binjiang New Town Development & Construction Co Ltd and LG New Energy Group inked a $800 million deal, focusing on power and energy storage battery production. LG Energy Solution CEO, Jin Dongming, praised Nanjing Jiangning Binjiang New Town as the world’s most advanced, pledging further investment.

During the visit, special attention was given to Polestar Technology, which recently established its China headquarters in Nanjing. Global CEO Mr. Thomas and COO Mr. Yunus expressed confidence in Polestar’s Nanjing venture, promising full support for its development in China.
