Guests from home and abroad who were invited to participate in the Third Jiangsu Development Summit have returned to their respective hometowns of Jiangsu to carry out all-round exchange and cooperation.
About 400 guests from home and abroad attended a symposium on Nanjing’s high quality development at the Nanjing International Expo and Convention Center.
Han Liming, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, hoped that the distinguished guests will experience the new achievements of high-quality development, share new opportunities for high-quality development, and gather new forces for high-quality development.
Chen Zhichang, Deputy Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, gave a presentation on the investment environment in Nanjing.
Six outstanding guests from various fields at home and abroad gave wonderful speeches around themes such as memories of Nanjing and their hometown feelings.
Nanjing signed 39 investment projects in the fields of software and information services, biopharmaceuticals, and intelligent manufacturing, with a total investment of 85.575 billion yuan.

“New Zealand has many similarities with Nanjing in terms of technology and big health industries. Through this Summit, we will focus on the elderly care and big health industries,” said Xie Ningsheng, President of New Zealand Nanjing Chamber of Commerce.
The Suzhou Development Summit was held on Sunday morning. Cao Lubao, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, delivered a keynote speech. Jin Liqun, President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, and some other guests made wonderful speeches.
Suzhou will also hold three sub-forums that include the Economic Development Forum, the Science and Technology Innovation Forum, and the Hometown Gathering Forum.

At an investment promotion meeting held in Nanjing on Sunday, the Yancheng Municipal People’s Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Macau University of Science and Technology and inked some major investment projects.

More than 50 guests returned to their hometown of Changzhou and looked forward to a better tomorrow of high-quality development in their hometown by witnessing the signing of new energy projects with a total investment of over 22 billion yuan.
