On September 11, Chen Zhichang, mayor of Nanjing, met with a delegation led by Angelika Bengel and Franziska Eichel, shareholders of Fette Compacting, and Joachim Dittrich, CEO of Fette Compacting. Other participants include vice mayor Ji Tiejun and Dr. Andreas Risch, Managing Director of Fette Compacting (China) Co., Ltd.
Fette Compacting, a leader in the area of tablet presses in the pharmaceutical industry, established Fette Compacting (China) Co., Ltd. in Nanjing in 2004.
Chen welcomed the guests, extended his congratulations to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Fette’s company in Nanjing and briefed the economic and social development of the city. Currently, Nanjing is implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and making all efforts to build an over-100-billion-yuan industrial cluster, with the biomedical industry seen as one of the strategic emerging industries, Chen said.
It is hoped that Fette Compacting will fully leverage its advantages, strengthen communication and exchanges with Nanjing, actively expand cooperation space, and work with the city to achieve win-win development. Nanjing will continue to promote high-level opening-up and provide more high-quality and efficient services for the development of the company in the city.
