On June 24th, Nanjing celebrated the inauguration of the BSH Global R&D Center and BSH China Home Appliances Talent Center, marking a collaboration between the Nanjing Municipal People’s Government and BSH Home Appliances Investment (China) Co., Ltd.

Mayor CHEN Zhichang met with Dr. Matthias METZ, Chairman and CEO of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, presented him with a commemorative plaque honoring BSH’s 30 years of investment in China.

BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, a leader in the global home appliance industry with brands like Bosch Home Appliances, Siemens Home Appliances, and Gaggenau, has considered Nanjing a key partner since establishing its subsidiary in 1997. Expanding its presence in Nanjing, BSH has established its China headquarters and contributed to the city’s economic and social development.

Dr. Matthias METZ expressed gratitude for Nanjing’s support, highlighting its innovative vitality and talent resources. He emphasized Nanjing’s strategic importance in BSH’s development strategy in China and expressed confidence in the city’s future. BSH plans to deepen its roots in Nanjing, leveraging local strengths, increasing R&D investment, and promoting new technologies and products for mutual benefit and future success.
