Last year, the inspection station inspected a total of 2,402 arrivals and departures of international vessels and over 48,000 individuals, representing a year-on-year growth of 28.7% and 30.3%, respectively. The arrival-and-departure quantities of vessels and individuals have recovered to 91.3% and 92.2% of the 2019 data, respectively.

According to information, to ensure efficient clearance for inbound and outbound vessels and boost Nanjing’s outward-oriented economy, the inspection station has been actively advancing the reform of “streamlining administration and delegating power, improving regulation, and upgrading services” in border inspections, and innovatively optimizing the customs clearance and inspection process. In addition to measures such as “offsite approval” and “paperless clearance”, initiatives like “one-site certification for regional common use”, simplified entry procedures for vessels within the Yangtze River Delta, and one-stop processing for the entry and exit procedures of certain ships have been implemented. These initiatives aim to minimize clearance procedures and shorten clearance times to the greatest extent possible.
