At the beginning of this year, the German multinational Bosch’s largest solar project in China, the completion ceremony of the Bosch solar photovoltaic project was held in Nanjing.

In Bosch Automotive Technical Services (China) Co., Ltd. in Nanjing, the solar panels installed in the factory are like a dense matrix, covering a huge area.

The project is divided into two phases. The first phase covers an area of 100,000 square meters, with a total of 17,422 modules. After the overall project is completed, the annual supply of clean photovoltaic energy will reach 10.68 million kilowatt hours, which can save huge energy costs and reduce carbon emissions. This project is Bosch’s global model project, developed in cooperation with NEFIN.

The first Bosch sales office in Asia opened in Shanghai on October 19, 1909. Today, all four Bosch business sectors are present in China: Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. In 2019, Bosch China operated 59 legal entities, and recorded sales of 109.3 billion yuan. As of December 31, 2019, the Bosch Group employed some 55,200 associates in China, the largest Bosch workforce outside Germany. China is also Bosch’s second largest market worldwide
