Chemical and speciality materials company Celanese has announced that its subsidiary Celanese (Nanjing) Chemical recently extended the long-term contract with Nanjing Dragon Crown Liquid Chemical Terminal.
This contract extension is intended for providing terminal services to its integrated chemical facility in the Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park, Nanjing City, in the eastern part of China (Jiangsu Province).
Financial details of this agreement have not been divulged.
Dependable terminal services are an essential element of an efficient supply chain. Therefore, extending this important contract will offer the Nanjing manufacturing facility with ongoing and dependable terminal services for its acetyls chemical products, claimed the company.
Celanese acetyls senior vice-president John Fotheringham said: “Dragon Crown has consistently provided Celanese with safe, compliant and reliable terminal services in China for more than a decade.
“The renewal of this contract is a representation of the collaboration between the two parties and further strengthens our long-term business relationship.”

These products are basic chemicals used in the manufacturing of paints and coatings, adhesives, plastics, food packaging and construction materials.
