Lishui Economic Development Zone, Located in Lishui District, Nanjing, is one of the first provincial-level development zones established by the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province. In November 1993, Jiangsu Provincial government approved the first batch of provincial-level development zones, and in December 2005, National Development and Reform Commission approved the certification of provincial-level development zones, covering an area of 138 square kilometers. In July 2019, it was listed as a national intellectual property pilot park.
The development zone is 45 kilometers away from downtown, 13 kilometers away from Nanjing Lukou International Airport, and 60 kilometers away from Nanjing Xinshengwei port. There are more than 200 enterprises in four categories, including automobile and spare parts manufacturing, electronic machinery, food and medicine, light industry and clothing, among which there are more than 60 foreign-funded enterprises.
The total annual technical, industrial and trade income of the zone is 2 billion yuan. Mainly rural agriculture, battery, motorcycle, agricultural machine, medicine, health care products, piston ring, FM motors, micro-motor, video the power cord, electronic connectors, compound fertilizer, feed, magnetic materials, PVC pipes, paper packaging, renewable resources, such as machinery, electronics, food, three types of more than two hundred varieties and specifications of the products.
