Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone is located in Jiangning District, Nanjing，founded in June 1992, is a state-level economic and technological development zone, the central high-level overseas talents innovative entrepreneurial base, as the highest national smart grid industry agglomeration degree, More than 100 smart grid enterprises, such as Nanrui Group, Guodian Nanjing Automation Co.,Ltd, Siemens, ABB and NR ELECTRIC gather here, and set up a complete industrial chain of six links, such as generation, transmission, transformation, distribution, power consumption and dispatching.

The zone has built ten industrial platforms such as Wireless Valley, wind power industrial park, bonded logistics park, electric power automation industrial base and aviation power industrial base. The zone has introduced more than 1,800 enterprises, among which 437 are foreign-funded enterprises with more than 10 million U.S. dollars, including 45 fortune 500 enterprises such as Ford, Mazda, Ericsson, Siemens, MOTOROLA and Hitachi. The zone has invested a total of 9.6 billion U.S. dollars in contracted foreign capital and over 5.5 billion U.S. dollars in actual investment.
