On November 26, the 2024 France-Nanjing Economic and Academic Meetings as successfully held in Nanjing, marking another milestone in the long-standing relationship between China and France.
The event, organized by the Nanjing Municipal Investment Promotion Bureau and the Lyon-China Relations Promotion Center, brought together approximately 150 representatives from government, industry, and academia.
The event featured industry environment presentations from Nanjing and the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes Region, inspiring businesses to explore joint ventures. Representatives from BioMerieux, Neyret Group, Bank of Nanjing, and others shared success stories of Sino-French partnerships, emphasizing the complementary strengths of both economies and the vast potential for collaboration.
Nanjing has long been a fertile ground for French businesses, hosting over 100 French-invested projects with a combined contract value exceeding $1.4 billion. Companies like Valeo, Saint-Gobain, and BNP Paribas have thrived in the city, contributing significantly to its economic development.
