On May 18th, “Nanjing Talent Day” took place with the theme “In Nanjing, You Build a Better Future with Innovation”. Nanjing has 96 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 125 Chinese and foreign academicians involved in innovation and entrepreneurship, and over 1,007,600 university students, ranking 6th among Chinese cities in attractiveness to younger generation talents.

During the opening ceremony, the Nanjing Science and Technology Achievement Supply and Demand Information Docking Platform and 17 university sub-centers of the Nanjing Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Service Center were officially launched. Additionally, Nanjing and Southeast University signed an agreement to further develop talent attraction and educational cooperation. Each year, more than one-third of Southeast University’s graduates choose to stay in Nanjing, and 23 listed companies along with over 100 “little giant” enterprises (specialized and sophisticated enterprises producing new and unique products) have emerged from enterprises founded by its alumni in Nanjing.

Currently, Nanjing is striving to build a globally influential industrial science and technology innovation center, offering valuable opportunities and a broad platform for talents. This effort aims to attract more talents to choose Nanjing, put down roots, and realize their dreams here.
