Jiangning District of Nanjing City will promote its cooperation with colleges and universities in the district in a bid to establish a joint talent training system in the form of “school-enterprise collaboration and work-study alternation”, according to the 12 “Opinions on Cooperation in the Cultivation of Talents” issued by the district authority recently. 

Jiangning District will work with colleges and universities to build a global talent introduction network, enhance the influence of talent introduction, support colleges and universities, enterprises, and major innovation platforms to establish a State Key Laboratory, improve talent attraction, explore the construction of scientific and technological achievements information database, and promote the gathering of innovative achievements of colleges and universities to specialized and new enterprises.

Jiangning District will also pilot the construction of high-quality talent communities, lay out a number of international schools, hospitals, and innovation carriers, and create a “15-minute life business circle” to meet the full cycle needs of university talent life services and career development.

In addition, Jiangning District will also try to break the boundary between the city and universities, turn the closed campus space into an urban open space, realize the mutual penetration of the campus and the urban landscape roads and public green space, and form a shared space.

Jiangning will also promote the opening and sharing of teaching and scientific research facilities, large instruments and equipment in colleges and universities, open public facilities such as libraries, stadiums and training centers to the public, and promote the integration of science and technology and culture in colleges and universities.
