During May 9th to May 11th，the first International Symposium of EDA (ISEDA 2023) was held in Jiangbei New Area, Nanjing. This symposium is the first international academic conference held by Chinese in the field of EDA, which is also considered to be the highest-level, most focused, most open and the grandest, gathering the key experts and R&D personnel in the academic field of EDA at home and abroad in order to building an efficient communication bridge for EDA research and development professionals.

EDA, also known as electronic design automation, has been considered to be the core technology and important cornerstone for the development of IC industry. Jiangbei new area of Nanjing has shown forward thinking in the layout of IC and EDA fields, and has gathered leading domestic and foreign EDA enterprises, covering nearly 70% of the whole chain. Thanks to its excellent industrial environment, solid talent base and favorable innovation atmosphere, the first International Symposium of EDA is chosen in Jiangbei New Area.

On January 28th, China’s National Technology Innovation Center of EDA landed in Jiangbei New Area. Aiming to create the cooperation mechanism between EDA industry and academic communities over the span of five years, this center is jointly set up by Southeast University and Nanjing Jiangbei New Area and will become a platform for EDA product demonstration and talent development.
