On May 5, the 133rd Canton Fair came to an end. Nanjing Trade Mission had a successful showing, with over 200 companies participating and securing 4,164 intended orders worth more than $350 million. The city’s foreign trade enterprises demonstrated their innovative strength by focusing on new trends in international trade such as wisdom, green technology, and more.

At the new area of new energy and intelligent networked vehicles, the products showcased by Nanjing Jinlong Bus Manufacturing Co., Ltd received significant attention from overseas customers, with many expressing interests in visiting the company’s production base in Nanjing. Except for the European market, Russia, the Middle East and South Asia have also shown a strong interest in new energy vehicles.

Compared to the traditional foreign trade which are mainly home furnishings, household equipment, clothing, electric vehicles, solar cells, and lithium batteries were the new stars of the fair, while Nanjing’s foreign trade momentum has contributed to a 4.2 percentage point increase in first-quarter export growth rate.
